Emergent Modes
Null EM
~∅EMNull EM (Emergent Modes), is a non-compositional documentation of verifiable emergent behaviors of physical systems.
I reject the categories of composer, producer, and sound artist. I do not compose or create works. I record phenomena directly, as they manifest.
The selection of which modes or behaviors to foreground is inevitably subjective: it reflects a personal affinity for certain densities, textures, or structural complexities. Yet nothing is added to or imposed upon the phenomenon; only what was already present is revealed and amplified.
The true author is always the phenomenon itself. My intervention is limited to attentive listening and affinity-based selection.
There is no narrative intent, nor any transformation of the material into music.
Only phenomenology.~∅EMNull EM (Modos Emergentes), es un procedimiento de documentacion no compositiva de comportamientos emergentes verificables de sistemas físicos.
Rechazo las categorías de compositor, productor o artista sonoro. No compongo ni creo obras. Registro los fenómenos directamente, tal como se manifiestan.
La selección de qué modos o comportamientos registrar, es inevitablemente subjetiva: responde a una afinidad personal por determinadas densidades, texturas o complejidades estructurales. Sin embargo, nada se añade ni se impone al fenómeno; solo se revela y se amplifica lo que ya estaba presente.
El verdadero autor es siempre el fenómeno mismo. Mi intervención se limita a la escucha atenta, selección y registro.
No hay intención narrativa ni transformación del material en música.
Solo fenomenología.
WORKING FRAMEWORK

The working framework defines the operational layers of the system:
the structural depth recorded by the geophone,
the material surface captured by the contact microphone,
